You know who isn't plastered all over the news for hurting kids? Folx who do drag. Every time the far right makes an accusation it's a confession.
Our favorite defense against drag story hour: "Why don't drag queens read to veterans and the elderly?" You mean, why don't they read to people who are presumably able to read for themselves? Or do you mean queens should be doing more charity work for all ages, because boo boo, I think if you actually did research (fat chance) you'd find a lot of charity work being done by drag queens in all areas of this country.
We have to stand up to all the haters that are disgusted by the expression of queer joy. What a sad life it must be to only live to hate. We feel bad for those people. But you know what cheers us up? A fun drag show!
Drag is a beautiful and courageous. Period.
